Medical Wearable Technology
Jasper MedTech’s current research interest includes wearable devices and related innovative technologies. In combination with the WAGAR group, they focus on:
The team will play a major role in assisting primary care physicians and surgeons in every aspect of pre and post intervention care.
Jasper MedTech’s research team published the first article on the use of wearable devices for objective and subjective assessment of post operative spinal patients, as well as assessing the potential role of wearables for the use in identification and monitoring of mental health.

Percutaneous pedicle screw retractor technologies
Jasper MedTech was involved in the development of Intellectual Property for initial percutaneous access and retractor designs for pedicle screw technologies globally, and was a principal designer of the worlds most used minimally invasive pedicle screw system.
Minimally invasive techniques for spinal surgery have increased in popularity because of their potential advantages including:
Jasper MedTech provides surgeons with access to tools that improve surgical workflow, with improved ease, simplicity and safety to maximise patient outcomes.
